Privacy Policy
The short version
KitchenCalcs is a static website. Calculations run entirely in your browser — the numbers you type into any calculator are never sent to our servers or stored by us. We don’t require accounts and don’t collect names, emails, or payment details.
Cookies and consent
If this deployment has analytics enabled, you’ll see a consent banner on your
first visit. The analytics script loads only after you choose “Accept.”
If you decline, no analytics script loads and no analytics cookies are set. Your
choice is stored in your browser’s local storage (key: kc-consent)
and you can change it any time by clearing site data in your browser.
Advertising consent is handled separately: visitors in the European Economic Area, the UK, and Switzerland are shown a Google-certified consent message (via Google’s Privacy & messaging tools) before any personalized ads are served. Visitors elsewhere may see ads without a separate prompt, consistent with applicable local requirements.
Analytics
When enabled and consented to, we use Google Analytics 4 with IP anonymization to understand which pages are useful (page views, approximate region, device type). We don’t use it to identify individuals. Learn more at Google’s privacy policy.
Advertising
When enabled, we show ads via Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies to serve ads based on your prior visits to this or other websites. You can opt out of personalized advertising at Google Ads Settings, and learn how Google uses data at policies.google.com/technologies/partner-sites.
Affiliate links
Some pages contain labeled Amazon affiliate links. If you click one, Amazon sets cookies on its own domain to attribute purchases; this happens on Amazon’s site under Amazon’s privacy notice.
Hosting logs
Our hosting provider may keep standard server logs (IP address, user agent, requested URL) for security and abuse prevention, typically retained briefly.
Children
The site is a general-audience reference and does not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.
Your rights
Depending on where you live (e.g., GDPR in Europe, CCPA/CPRA in California), you may have rights to access or delete personal data. Because we don’t store personal data ourselves, such requests usually concern Google’s services — use the links above — but you can also contact us at support@kitchencalcs.site and we’ll help.
Changes
We’ll update this page when practices change and revise the date above. Material changes will be noted here.
